FARMINGTON, NM—APRIL 18, 2018—A full field of 10 3-year-olds, topped by morning-line favorite Dominate This, has been entered in Sunday’s 400-yard, $25,000 Animas Stakes at SunRay Park.

A gelded son of Dominyun racing for Angel V. Hernandez from the barn of trainer Frankie Martinez, Dominate This is coming off of a second-place finish, a neck behind winner Wagon On Fire V, in the March 31, 400-yard West Texas Derby (G3) at Sunland Park. Dominate This drew the rail post and will be ridden by Esgar Ramirez.

Other contenders include Enrique Barrera’s Moneys A Maker, a gray son of Sixes Royal trained by Cynthia Gonzalez. Moneys A Maker has earned $193,469 from 10 outs, all in New Mexico, and his three wins include a neck victory in last year’s 300-yard New Mexican Spring Futurity (RG2) for New Mexico-bred juveniles at Sunland Park.

Moneys A Maker drew post 8 and will be ridden by Jaime Leos.
