SHELBYVILLE, IN—SEPTEMBER 22, 2016—Fantastic Six Pack, a homebred Fantastic Corona Jr gelding and the fastest qualifier, tops a field of 10 state-bred 3-year-olds entered in Saturday’s 400-yard, $113,400 Sterlie Bertram Memorial Stakes (R) at Indiana Grand.
Campaigned by Duke Racing LLC from the barn of trainer Matt Frazier, Fantastic Six Pack is coming off of a neck victory in the last of two trials on September 10. The gelding has earned $75,855 from four outs this season, and his record includes a neck victory in the 400-yard, $115,000 Blue River Derby (R) on July 30.
Fantastic Six Pack drew post 9 and will be ridden by Shanley Jackson.
