Fastest qualifier B Double U drew post 2 for the Saturday's $303,000 Black Gold 350 Futurity (RG3) at Will Rogers Downs.

CLAREMORE, OK— SEPTEMBER 20, 2016—Francisco Vega’s Widows Devil, a Grade 1-placed gelding by Valiant Hero, drew post 8 for Sunday’s 350-yard, $303,000 Black Gold 350 Futurity (RG3) at Will Rogers Downs.

Widows Devil has earned $135,447 from five starts, and his resume includes a third-place finish, one length behind winner Duponte, in the 350-yard, $1.08-million Heritage Place Futurity (G1) at Remington Park on June 4. The gelding will be ridden by Gonzalo Gutierrez for trainer Manuel Almanza.

Fastest qualifier B Double U drew post 2 and will be ridden by Agustin Silva. A homebred son of Pyc Paint Your Wagon trained by R.L. “Rick” Robinson for owner Gregory Cullum and a finalist in the Heritage Place Futurity, B Double U is coming off of a 1 1/2-length victory in the fourth of 11 trials on September 10.
