Fastest qualifier Flybye 109 will head a full field in Saturday's $28,670 Alberta Stallion Derby (R) at Northlands Park.

EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA—AUGUST 17, 2016—A full field of 10 sophomores, topped by Buckey Stockwell’s Flybye 109, has been entered back in Saturday’s 330-yard, $28,670 Alberta Stallion Derby (R) at Northlands Park.

A homebred daughter of the Strawfly Special stallion Special Fly Bye and the fastest qualifier, Flybye 109 is coming off of a neck victory in the second of two trials on August 10. The filly has won six of 11 starts -- including last year’s Alberta Stallion Futurity -- and has earned $44,733 while racing exclusively in Alberta.

Flybye 109 drew post 10 and will be ridden by Jose Rocha.
