GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—OCTOBER 6, 2015—Fastest qualifier Nucky will be attempting to keep his perfect record intact from post 7 in Saturday’s 400-yard, $448,515 Dash For Cash Futurity (G1) at Lone Star Park.

Nucky is a bay son of Dominyun trained by Kalah Welch for owners Denis and Julie Schoenhofer and Dale Taylor. The gelding has won all five of his outs, including the April 12, 300-yard West Texas Futurity (G2) at Sunland Park, and he has banked $106,094.

Omar Reyes will ride Nucky in the Dash For Cash Futurity final.

JS Abel Dasher, a homebred filly by The Louisiana Cartel racing for James Sills and Abel Flores from the barn of trainer Eddie Willis, drew post 7. JS Abel Dasher is coming off of a Ruidoso Downs summer campaign in which she ran second, a half of a length behind winner Queen Catherine, in the August 1, $75,000 John Deere Ruidoso Juvenile Challenge (G3).

Jose Vega has been named to ride JS Abel Dasher.

Also on Saturday, a full field of sophomores has been entered back in the 440-yard, $194,100 Dash For Cash Derby (G3).

Jorge Luis Mendoza’s Marys Coronitas, a gray daughter of Corona Cartel and the fastest qualifier, is coming off of a three-quarter length win in the fourth of six trials on September 25. The filly has earned $35,675 from five starts this season.

Marys Coronitas will be ridden by Juan F. Garcia Jr. from post 7.

Dash For Cash Juvenile

My Royal Wagon, a Grade 1-placed Pyc Paint Your Wagon colt owned by Brian L. Gunder, is the early favorite for Saturday’s 400-yard, $49,835 Dash For Cash Juvenile Invitational Stakes.

Trained by Brian Muse, My Royal Wagon has won three of seven race and has earned $123,543. The colt raced at Ruidoso Downs last summer, where he finished third, a half of a length behind winner Tres Friends, in the 400-yard, $1-million Rainbow Futurity (G1) on July 19.

My Royal Wagon drew post 2 and will be ridden by G.R. Carter Jr.
