Ud Goldenboy and jockey Uriel Dominguez won the $16,400 Bulldogger Stakes at Energy Downs 307 Horse Racing on Sunday.

GILLETTE, WY—MAY 28, 2023—Ud Goldenboy popped the gate under jockey Uriel Dominguez then rolled to an easy three-quarter length victory in his 2023 debut, the $16,400 Bulldogger Stakes at Energy Downs 307 Horse Racing on Sunday.

Conditioned by Calli Dominguez, Ud Goldenboy completed the 110 yards in :07.039 seconds, an 88 speed index into a 6 mph headwind. The winner's purse valued at $8,938 boosted the multiple stakes winner's earnings to $88,820.

Owned-and-bred by Lucero Uriel Dominguez, Ud Goldenboy has compiled a (35) 16-7-4 record.  Bred in Utah, the 8-year-old son of multiple stakes sire JR Dynasty Mountain is  from the Tac It Like A Man mare Bvlgari B.

Skip Kahle's Daenerys Targaryen earned $3,280 for her second-place effort. Skip Moody named jockey Terry Bennett to ride the Zulu Dragon 8-year-old. Brit Hughes and  Sarah D. Rioux bred the mare in New Mexico from the Major Rime mare Forced To Win. She has earned $18,954.

Makn Diamonds and Flightofthephoenix earned $1,476 each for a dead-heat for third-place.

Trainer Diana Garfias named jockey Valente Vorrath to ride Makn Diamonds for owner-breeder Pedro Mena. The Wyoming bred daughter of Maknmoves is out of Diamonds Tiny Effort by Proudest Effort. She has earned $32,859.

Flightofthephoenix, also from Garfias Stable, races for owner Robert Fox and was ridden by Jarred Journet. Cade Burn bred the Fly Thru The Fire filly in California from the Hawkinson mare AQUA Hawk. She has earned $13,257 in 8 starts.

Ud Tootsie Roll, Vvr Help Me Rhonda and Wanna Be Fierce completed the field.
