GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—OCTOBER 18, 2019—The top two 2-year-olds in Texas, Trump My Record and Chilitos, will faceoff for the second time when they meet in the Grade 1 $904,631 Texas Classic Futurity at Lone Star Park on Saturday, November 9th.

Two-time graded stakes winner, and runner-up to Chilitos in the Dash For Cash Futurity(G2) on October 5, set the bar high in the first trial under jockey Eddie Sanchez.

The son of a leading first-crop sire Apollitical Blood posted a 2-¼ length win over fellow qualifier My Fast Prize in the opening trial. His time of :19.467 seconds, equaling 104 speed index with a 6 mph tailwind, set the top mark and held through 13 trials contested on Saturday night.

Trainer Jose Sanchez, III conditions the multiple graded winner for owner Cruz Nava. Bred in Texas by Fulton Quien Sabe Ranches, LLC, Trump My Record has compiled a (9) 7-1-0 record and banked $388,591. He won the Sam Houston Futurity(G2), Harrah's Entertainment Futurity(G3) and was also a finalist in the TQHA Sale Futurity(RG2).

Dash For Cash Futurity(G2) winner Chilitos rolled to his third consecutive win in the fifth trial by a margin of 2-½ lengths under jockey Nestor Duran. The Adrian Huitron trainee stopped the timer in :19.587 seconds, a 101 speed index with a 6 mph tailwind, to record the second fastest time.

The son of leading sire Apollitical Jess is an Oklahoma homebred racing for owner-breeders Anna and Omar Paredes. The sorrel colt has won four of seven career starts and earned $197,519.

Multiple stakes-placed A Painted Dynasty finished strong under jockey Jesse Levario to win the second trial by 1-¼ and record the third fastest time of :19.628 seconds, a 99 speed index with a 6 mph tailwind.

Josue Ponce trains the son of world champion sire FDD Dynasty for owner David Gutierrez. Bred in Oklahoma by The Mixer Ranch, from the Pyc Paint Your Wagon mare Third Painted Sign, A Painted Dynasty was second in the Grade 2 Firecracker Futurity and third in the Grade 2 Sam Houston Futurity. He has earned $107,688.

Coming off a third-place finish to Chilito and Trump My Record in the October 5 Dash For Cash Futurity(G2), Fm Dynasty Rock won the third trial by half-a-length to get the fourth fastest clocking of :19.714 seconds, a 97 speed index.

Robi Meche saddled the Mr Jess Perry gelding for Jose Fabian Hernandez. Julianna Hawn Holt bred the sorrel gelding in Texas from the champion daughter of FDD Dynasty, Kates Dynasty. Fourth in the Ruidoso QH Juvenile Stakes over the summer, Fm Dynasty Rock has won four of seven starts and earned $58,785.

Apollitical Jess, Mr Jess Perry and Pyc Paint Your Wagon each got duel qualifiers to Texas' richest race. The aforementioned Apollitical Blood and champion Kiss My Hocks are first-crop sires who got a finalist to the 2019 Texas Classic Futurity(G1).
