PHOENIX, AZ—NOVEMBER 28 2014—Mackies Wagon held off Black N Tackle by a neck Saturday afternoon in the $7,500 Louie Curtis - Robert Kieckefer Stakes (not black-type) at Turf Paradise. Heat Warning finished half-a-length back in the show position.

Ridden by jockey Martin Osuana, Mackies Wagon covered the 350 yards in :17.682 seconds to earn a 99-speed index. The $6,185 winner's purse swelled the Pyc Paint Your Wagon 5-year-old's earnings total to $102,880.

Roy Ronquillo conditions the multiple stakes winner for owner Ricardo Biebrich. Angela Maria Aquino bred the brown gelding in California from the In Excess (TB) mare Deer Mackie. His record stands at (17) 10-2-1.

Also a multiple graded stakes winner Block N Tackle boosted his career earnings total to $212,659 after pocketing $1,995 for second. Matthew Fales saddled the Arizona homebred for Ralph and Carolyn Fales. Vince Guerra was aboard the Tac It Like a Man gelding out of Watchin The Rain, by Takin On The Cash.

Also a homebred for owner/breeder Ralph and Carolyn Fales, Heat Warning earned $998 for his third place finish. Matthew Fales trains the A Regal Choice 4-year-old out of Its A Dry Heat (TB), by Dixieland Heat (TB). Jorge Bourdieu was aboard the earner of more than $93,600.

Stockton Six, Eyes Kudos, Fast Dreams, Movin Beduino, Jess Secrets Br, A Corona Sunset and Avatarr completed the field.
