OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—NOVEMBER 14, 2025–Deadlines close Saturday, November 15, to nominate horses to the 2026 Heritage Place Futurity, Derby, and Oaks.

As one of the most anticipated points on the Quarter Horse racing calendar, the announcement signals the start of the journey toward three of Oklahoma’s richest racing events.

This year’s program once again features the Grade 1, $1,000,000 Heritage Place Futurity, long regarded as one of the premier 2-year-old races in the sport. Alongside it, the Grade 2, $250,000 Heritage Place Derby and the Grade 2, $300,000 Heritage Place Oaks will anchor the 3-year-old division, offering a lucrative and prestigious path for sophomores returning to Remington Park.

Trial races for all three events are scheduled for May 7–10, with the finals set for May 30, placing the championships at the heart of Remington Park’s spring Quarter Horse meet.

The program remains open to the world, offering owners and breeders across the industry an opportunity to compete in one of the most internationally recognized futurity and derby systems in the racing industry. The 2026 edition also continues the incentive of an Elite 4-horse trailer awarded to the Futurity winner, valid for one year.
