PHOENIX, AZ–APRIL 25, 2024–Rompe Corazonez, who qualified with the third fastest time in the trials, isn't breaking hearts today. The two-year-old bay filly pulled off her victory with an upset in the finals of the $56,075 AQRA Turf Paradise Presidents Open Futurity on Thursday afternoon.

Jockey Joseph Belloc Jr piloted Rompe Corazonez to her first place finish in :15.843 seconds clocking a 89 speed index against an 8 mph headwind. After a bumped start, she held well leading the field from wire-to-wire and crossed the finish line 3/4-lengths ahead of Bartlett.
