Los Alamitos' 10-race Saturday night program will feature a Pick 6 Carryover of $30,857.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA—NOVEMBER 25, 2022– The 10-race Saturday night program will feature a Pick 6 Carryover of $30,857 with the sequence beginning in the 5th race at 7:39 p.m. (PDT).

First post for the card is 6 p.m.      

With the new money expected to be wagered on Saturday, the total pool could be over $150,000.  Ed Burgart will call the racing action this holiday weekend in place of the vacationing Michael Wrona, who’ll return to announcer’s perch next Saturday night.                             

The Pick 6 races will consist of the 5th through the 10th race. The final race of this sequence is also the main event on Saturday night, which is a $13,700 allowance test for fillies and mares at 300 yards.

The field will include the Grade 1 stakes finalist Run By Your Cartel from the barn of trainer Juan Aleman. The sophomore filly has been in race stakes events this season, running third in both the Corona Kool Handicap and the Down With Debt Handicap. Run By Your Cartel had the lead during the first half of the 350-yard Corona Kool, so the shorter distance in Saturday’s race could suit her quickness perfectly.  

Others in this race include Looks On Fleek, who was third to In My Heart in the Check Her Twice this summer, and recent arrival Look N At Me, who is blessed with a lot of gate speed. Three others will race.
