2022 LQHBA Yearling Sale Recap - Day 1(VIDEO)

KINDER, LA–AUGUST 6, 2020–StallioneSearch.com begins its coverage of the 2022 LQHBA Yearling Sale at the Coushatta Casino and Resort in Kinder, Louisiana with the release of the recap of Friday’s opening session (AUG 5).

On this episode, StallioneSearch.com was on hand to capture video of the four highest-selling yearlings from the opening session of the 2022 yearling sale. 

The sales office of the LQHBA reported that numbers climbed in gross, average, and median to kick off the first of two sessions of the association’s annual yearling sale held in Kinder, Louisiana.

At the close of the first day of business, 213 of 247 horses offered sold for gross receipts of $4,049,200, a 13% increase compared to last year’s opening session. Today’s average price of $19,010 was up 25% over last year’s $15,190 and the median rose to $13,000, a 21% increase over the $10,700 median on day 1 last year (see related story).
