OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—DECEMBER 15, 2018—Horsemen wanting stalls for the 2019 Remington Park American Quarter Horse Meet must get their applications into the Oklahoma City track's racing office by Monday (Dec.17).

In 2019, Remington Park will again host 50 days of live Quarter Horse racing from March 8 through June 1 offering nearly $200,000 per day in average daily purse money.

The usual $1 million-est. Heritage Place Futurity(G1), $1 million-est. Remington Park Oklahoma-bred Futurity(RG2) and the $450,000-est. Oklahoma Futurity(G3) will be among the racing season highlights.

In addition a very strong stakes program for older horses includes the $250,000 Remington Park Invitational Championship(G1), $100,000 Leo Stakes Stakes(G1), $100,000 Junos Request(G2 for fillies & mares), $50,000 Eastex Handicap(G2) and $50,000 Decketta Stakes(G3 for Fillies & Mares) will be carded.

Additional information that horsemen and women should be aware of for the 2019 meet include:

• Every horse will be required to provide a negative hair test free from prohibited drugs prior to entering for the first time during the 2019 meet.
• All horses competing in stakes races at Remington Park must be stabled on the backstretch no later than 24 hours prior to pre-race veterinarian exam. >
• Arrival to be confirmed by an approved time stamped in-slip at the stable gate.
• All Derby and Futurity qualifiers must remain stabled on the grounds of Remington Park between the trials and finals of every 2019 Derby or Futurity.

Failure to comply with these policies may result in but not be limited to fines, scratch from race, and or ejection from property etc.

It will be the responsibility of each trainer with horses entered in stakes races or that qualify as finalists in Derby or Futurity races to make stabling arrangements thru the racing secretary.
