RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM--MARCH 8, 2018-- A sustaining payment for the 2019 Triple Crown Futurities and a supplemental nomination opportunity for foals of 2017 not already nominated to the 2019 Triple Crown Futurities are due on March 15 at Ruidoso Downs.

The sustaining payment is $350 while the supplemental nomination is $1,600.

The Triple Crown Futurities consist of the Grade 1, $3-million (est.) All American Futurity, the Grade 1, $1-million (est.) Rainbow Futurity and the $1-million (est.) Ruidoso Futurity.

Also, sustaining payments for 2018 All American, Rainbow and Ruidoso Futurities are due on March 15.

The All American Futurity payment is $800, the Rainbow and Ruidoso Futurity payments are $700.

In 2018, Ruidoso Downs will offer a $2-million All American Triple Crown Futurity Bonus for the connections of any horse that can sweep the Ruidoso Futurity, the Rainbow Futurity and the All American Futurity.

Also, for the first time, a bonus of $1 million will be paid to the connections of any horse that can sweep the Ruidoso, Rainbow and All American derbies.

The purses for these Grade 1 futurities for foals of 2016 total an estimated $5.3 million.
