Gates Open Today On The 18th Fall Meeting Of Champions For American Quarter Horses

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—SEPTEMBER 19, 2014—Race fans, are you ready for exciting live racing? It is opening weekend of Lone Star Park's 2014 Fall Meeting of Champions for American Quarter Horses! Gates open both tonigth (Friday) and Saturday at 5:30 p.m. First race post time is 6:35 p.m.

Headlining the nine-race opening night card Friday is the 17th running of the $20,000-guaranteed Nevill Document Solutions Stakes for Accredited Texas-Bred three-year-olds & upward, going 350 yards (See Related Story).

AQHA's 10-time world champion jockey, G. R. Carter, Jr. will be at the Grand Prairie track opening night to ride Db Captain King in the Nevill Stakes. He also has a mount on Top Texas Wildcatter for trainer Toby Keeton in the final race on the card.

The field from the rail out, with jockey and morning line odds is as follows: Iknow Heknows Iknow (Jose Amador Alvarez, 20-1); Sparrow Contender (Raul Guiterrez, 4-1); John the Banker (Damian I. Martinez, 8-1); Imkeepingscore (Gaspar Garcia, 20-1); Mr Taka B (Omar Reyes, 7-2); Raising Kain (Francisco Calderon, 8-1); Charal Kid (Santos Carrizales, 5-1); Db Captain Kid (G. R.
