RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—JULY 28, 2014—Due to severe thunderstorms Ruidoso Downs was forced to cancel the remainder of Monday's card following the sixth race.

Racing will resume at the mountain racetrack on Friday nine race card starting at 1:00 pm (MDT).

On Saturday the track will host the $62,370 John Deere Ruidoso Juvenile Challenge for two-year-old Challenge enrolled Quarter Horses going 350 yards. Bobby Cox’s homebred Apolitical Pac set the fastest qualifying time.

Raymundo Medrano and Sammy Valeriano’s Higheasterjet Handicap winner Jody Pops Zoomer heads the Grade 3, $20,000 Mr Jet Moore Handicap on Sunday at Ruidoso Downs.
