RUIDOSO, DOWNS, NM—JUNE 13, 2013—Ruidoso Futurity (G1)-winning trainer Alonso Orozco has been temporarily banned from Ruidoso Downs, reports The Paulick Report today.

The trainer's Cartel Quick won the $750,000 Ruidoso Futurity on Sunday, then died on Monday due to what Orozco attributed to kidney failure.

An autopsy is being conducted, and until the report has returned, Ruidoso Downs general manager Shaun Hubbard told Paulick, Orozco will not be permitted to race at the track.
