Third-Crop  Sire Lethal Corona to Rigby Equine In 2023

MAGNOLIA, TX—NOVEMBER 9, 2022—Rigby Equine Medicine and Reproduction announced today that top ten third-crop sire Lethal Corona SI 106 will stand the 2023 season at their facility in Magnolia Texas. His fee will remain $1,500, with consideration, first collection included, shipped semen only.

Owned by Mickey Tiner, the Grade 3 winning son of leading sire Corona Cartel is the only stallion at stud from the "blue hen" mare Miss Lethal by Chicks Beduino.

From limited starers three crops to race he has sired 16 winners, 2 black type with average earnings per starter of over $14,400.

His top performers include stakes-placed Lethal White Veil SI 97 (4 wins to 4, $79,525 3rd-Miss Retama S.), stakes-placed My Lethal Jess SI 98 (placed at 2, $6,905 3rd-Elko Intermountain Futurity,) Grade 2 finalist Dos Corona Flash SI 91 (2 wins to 2, 2022, $40,357, finalist TQHA Sale Futurity(RG2), Lethal Timber SI 102 (3 wins to 4, $49,663), Dm Lethal Affair SI 87 (4 wins to 4, $41,825), etc.

Lethal Corona won or placed in 15 of 18 career starts and earned $63,844. He was second in the Dash For Cash Juvenile Invitational at Lone Star Park and third in the Grade 3 Easy Jet Stakes at Remington Park. P.K. Thomas is the breeder.

In his final start, Lethal Corona finished a nose off stakes winner Snipes And Bites, with both horses breaking the Lone Star Park track record for 330 yards. The previous record of :16.484 seconds was set October 12, 2012, by Allure Sr. Lethal Corona recorded at :16.483 for the 330-yard distance.
