DALLAS, TX— FEBRUARY 4, 2021—Champion and leading first-crop sire of 2020, Jess Good Candy, has been named the second recipient of the StallioneSearch.com Rising Star Sire Award for 2020. Each year StallioneSearch honors the industries' leading first-crop sire of Money Earners with this annual award.

Jess Good Candy capped off his first crop of 2-year-olds with 20 winners, 7 black type, 1 champion, earnings of $1,273,623 and average earnings per starter of over $19,900.

A home-bred owned by PV Quarter Horse Farms, LLC, Jess Good Candy is a two-time champion son of multiple stakes sire Good Reason SA from the Mr Jess Perry mare Jess Send Candy. He won the All American Futurity(G1), Ruidoso Derby(G1) and Mr Master Bug Handicap. An undefeated winner of eight races, Jess Good Candy earned $2,014,703.
