Leading First Crop Sire Highest Fire to Dunn Ranch in Oklahoma

WYNNEWOOD, OK—DECEMBER 20, 2018—Highest Fire SI 93, the 2018 first-crop sire with the highest earnings per starter with 10 or more starters, will stand the 2019 season at Dunn Ranch near Wynnewood, Oklahoma. His fee will remain at $2,500 and he has been enrolled in the Black Gold Futurity program as well as the Oklahoma Bred Program.

The son of leading living sire Corona Cartel is owned by Jesus Garcia.

Highest Fire's first crop raced in 2018 and from a limited number of starters he is the sire of 13 ROM, 9 winners, 1 black-type, 3 graded stakes-finalist with earnings of $446,960 to date and average earnings per starters of more than $22,300. His average is more than 9-times his stud fee. With less than half as many starters, Highest Fire is the #3 Leading 2018 First-Crop sire of Money Earners to date.

Bred in Oklahoma by Juliana Hawn Holt, Highest Fire was a $77,000 Ruidoso Sale graduate. He won or placed in 8 of 13 career starts, earnings $325,637. Highest Fire was second in the Grade 1 Los Alamitos Super Derby and a finalist in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity(G1), Golden State Million Futurity(G1) and First Down Dash Stakes (at Ruidoso Downs).
