Robicheaux Announces 2018 Fees

BREAUX BRIDGE, LA—NOVEMBER 7, 2017—Robicheaux Ranch announced the 2018 fee schedule for its seven Louisiana-based stallions, led by #7 All-Time Leading Sire of Money Earners ($26.9 million) Heza Fast Dash at $6,000.

"We are extremely proud of the continued growth and strength of the Louisiana-bred program and thank our breeders for their loyal support," Ryan Robicheaux said. "It is an honor to stand this roster and we say thank you to the stallion owners for entrusting us with the care and management of these stallions each season."

Heza Fast Dash, who is consistently among the leading sires of money earners each year is currently #5 in 2017 with $2.3 million, 71 winners and 7 stakes winner this season. He is the sire of the undefeated filly Dasinunder Afullmoon who is the #7 Leading Money Earnings 2-year-old in the nation to date with $527,089.

Apollitical Blood, the AQHA Racing Champion 3-year-Old Colt in 2015, will have his fee stay at $5,500, with consideration. His first crop arrived in 2017.

Five Bar Cartel, the AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old Colt of 2013, will have his fee stay at $4,500, with consideration. The son of Corona Cartel is the 2017 Leading First-Crop Sale Sire with an average of more $28,000.

Game Patriot, #6 All-Time Leading Sire of Money Earners at $28.4 million, will be $4,000 with consideration. He is a Top 25 National Leading Sire of Money Earners this season with 65 winners and earnings of $1.1 million.

Jet Black Patriot, a young leading Louisiana sire who just purchased by Copper Spring Ranch for $725,000 at the Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale, will remain at Robicheaux Ranch in 2018 for a fee of $4,000. Also, a Top 25 National Leading Sire of Money Earners, he has sired $1.1 million earners in 2017 with 42 winners and two stakes winners.

Furyofthewind, a royally bred son of leading sire Corona Cartel from the champion/champion producing Dash For Cash mare Dashing Phoebe, will have his fee stay at $2,500, with consideration. From a limited number of starters, he has three 2017 stakes horses this season and more than $500,000 in earnings.

Fast Prize Jordan, the #5 Leading First-Crop Sire of Money Earners in 2017, will have his fee remain at $2,500 with consideration. The son of Pyc Paint Your Wagon is also the #2 Leading First-Crop Sire of Winners with 11 in his first crop.
