PAULS VALLEY, OK—OCTOBER 18, 2016—ApHC Champion Pikee will stand his first season at stud in 2017 at JRW in Pauls Valley Oklahoma. His introductory fee has been set at $650, with considerations.

"We are very excited about this next chapter of this stallion’s career. We believe Pikee has everything it takes to be one of the next top Appaloosa sires, We look forward to helping encourage mixed races in Oklahoma between the Paints and Appaloosas" said owner Juan Villafranco .

Trained by Luis Villafranco while racing Pikee won just over $20,000 and is on track to become ApHC Champion Three Year Old Colt at the end of the year (unofficially).

Pikee is a son of stakes winner and champion sire Furrtreeous SI 102 ($424,651), the sire of earners of $1.1 million including Cashing Teller ($93,676), Play Harder ($67,241), etc.

Pikee is out of the Appaloosa mare Sakira, by First Down Expected. The second dam is Melody Mine by AQHA Racing World Champion and multiple stakes sire Mr Master Bug.
