Multiple G1 Finalist Racy Casanova To Stand In Iowa

AMES, IA—OCTOBER 6, 2016—Multiple Grade 1 finalist Racy Casanova will stand his first season at stud in 2017 at Iowa State University near Ames. His fee has been set at $1,000, with considerations.

"I am very excited to be part of this young stallion's future. We believe Racy Casanova has everything it takes to be one of the next top sires of the Quarter Horse racing industry, and look forward to a busy and promising first season," manager Kaitlyn Thomsen said today. "I am extremely grateful to Kim and Jan Paulsen for the opportunity," she added.

Trained by Jason Olmstead for Kim and Jan Paulsen, Racy Casanova won or placed five of nine career starts and earned $64,981. In his first career start Racy Casanova qualified in the Grade 1 $1,020,980 Heritage Place Futurity. He was also a finalist to the Grade 1 $837,262 Texas Classic Futurity.
