Q-RACING JOURNAL—SEPTEMBER 22, 2015—If you’re looking to hit the big time, the $55,360 James Isaac Hobbs Stakes (G2) at Zia Park is a good place to start.

At least that seems to be the path BP Hit The Bigtime is following, as he romped home ahead of a solid field of horses to notch his first stakes victory. The $winner's share boosted his bankroll to $113,648.

Today we’re going to take a look at BP Hit The Bigtime’s pedigree, but I want to also give a quick nod to Mr Jo Eagle, a homebred One Famous Eagle gelding racing for Dan Nicks of Devine, Texas. The horse notched his first stakes win on Friday, winning the $20,000 Grand Prairie Stakes (R) at Lone Star Park and pushing his career earnings to $113,803.
