Such Easy Cash Dies at 21

CENTER, ND—JULY 28, 2015—Multiple stakes sire Such Easy Cash died last week at his home Bubel Quarter Horses in Center, North Dakota. The 21-year-old son of Dash For Cash was euthanized after breaking his leg in a freak accident in his paddock.

"He was great stallion and had been in the same paddock everyday," owner John Bubel said. "We came out and found that he had broken his leg."

From13 crops to reach racing age, Such Easy Cash has sired 79 winners, 8 stakes horses with earnings in excess of $2.3 million, with average earnings per starter of nearly $14,000.

Last Sunday (July 26) Such Easy Cash sired the 1-2 finishers in the $11,550 NDQHRA Quarter Horse Maturity, Jennas Easy Cash and Sweet Easy Cash; and his two-year-old daughter, Jennas Easy Eagle, finished third in the $26,790 Northern Plains Futurity at Chippewa Downs.

The Grade 1 placed runner won or placed 13 career starts and earned $57,435. He was second in the AQHA Distance Challenge, 3rd Ruidoso Futurity(G1), AQHA Racing Distance Challenge Championship(G1), and Oklahoma Distance Challenge. Such Easy Cash was also a finalist in the QHBC Juvenile Classic(G3), Mexico Derby Challenge, Red River Handicap, San Marcos Handicap and California Distance Challenge.

Such Easy Cash was out of the Grade 1 winner and champion producing Special Effort mare Such An Easy Effort SI 111 ($496,127), dam of 16 ROM including Champion Deelish SI 102 ($603,673), Grade 1 winner Fearless Freda SI 113 ($262,121), etc. She is the granddam or great-granddam of Champion Fredricksburg SI 109($369,304), Champion Freadaville SI 112 ($324,696), Heza Dash Fire Si 102 (6 wins in 6 starts at 2, 2015, $822,552), Rollicking Red SI 97 ($333,802), etc.
