VILLE PLATTE, LA—JULY 6, 2015—Blanchet Farms announced today that Mercy Hinklin Horse Farm's multiple stakes winner and track record holder FDD Going Grand SI 112 and multiple stakes sire Jess Elie will stand the 2016 season at their farm near Ville Platte, Louisiana.

A homebred for Hinklin, FDD Going Grand has won or placed 15 of 27 career starts and earned $197,510. He set a new track record while winning the Evangeline Downs Dash last fall.

The 5-year-old also won the Develop A Plan Stakes(G3) and Old South Derby. Trained by Kenneth Roberts, Sr., he was second in the Dash For Cash Futurity(G1), Miss Polly Classic Stakes(RG3), Firecracker Derby and Gentilly Dash Stakes and was a finalists in the Refrigerator Handicap(G1).

FDD Going Grand is by the two-time champion son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash, FDD Dynasty. Winner of the Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1) and earner of more than $1.1 million, FDD Dynasty is currently a top 10 leading sire of money earners for 2015. From five crops to race he has sired 213 winners, 1 champion, 38 stakes winners with earnings in excess of $9.1 million.
