Pedigree Analysis Sudden Separation: This Stakes Winner Isn't A Sudden Surprise

Q-RACING JOURNAL—JUNE 16, 2015—On June 14, Sudden Separation separated herself from the field in the $17,500 Golden Driller Stakes, streaking to a 1 1/4-length victory and her first stakes win.

Bred and owned by Duane Murphy of Aurora, Missouri, the horse is one of 23 starters Murphy has bred in his own name over 20 cumulative years of breeding. He also raced her dam, Okie Dokey Annie, as well as breeding the likes of stakes-placed runners Iris Dashing Royal ($43,704), Stylish Sydney ($18,668) and Handsome Jansen ($29,928).

Sire Inseperable is a champion and earner of $672,756. The two-time Grade 1 winner is by Separatist and out of A Delightful Legacy, herself a stakes winner and earner of $179,153. Inseperable is a sibling to Seperate Interest ($426,016) and a half-brother to Jess Before Dawn ($152,328) and Teller No Lies ($103,932).
