CLAREMORE, OK—NOVEMBER 10, 2018—Ridden by jockey Dtl Samureye wouldn't be denied Saturday by defeating D Railed by a neck in the $16,200 Don Drake Memorial at Will Rogers Downs. Bully Pulpit finished another neck back in the blanket finish to get third.

Conditioned by trainer R.L. Rick Robinson, Dtl Samureye completed the 350 yards in :17.717 seconds, a 91 speed index over a "good" racing surface, to pick up his fourth consecutive win.

Racing for owner Almada Racing, Dtl Samureye picked up $9,612 for the effort to bring his earnings mark to over $76,000. Dean and Tonya Lester bred the multiple stakes winning son of Sf Royal Quick Flash from the Mr Eye Opener mare Eysa Savvy Queen.

Dee Keener conditions runner-up D Railed for owner/breeder Jeff Adams. The Freighttrain B gelding earned $3,204 for the effort. Jose Vega was aboard the Oklahoma-bred gelding out of Jess Streakin by Feature Mr Jess. He has earned $44,559.

Bully Pulpit earned $1,762 for his third-place finish. Matt Whitekiller saddled the son of CRM Livewire for owners Don and Kaye Jones. Chuck Bowlan bred the multiple stakes winning gelding from the Apollo (TB) mare Judys Apollo. He has earned nearly $200,000.
