Tic Tac Attack Best in Portland Meadows Fall Derby

PORTLAND, OR—NOVEMBER 20, 2016—Tic Tack Attack got his first career stakes win Sunday after defeating multiple stakes winner Tickle Ur Fancy by 1¼ lengths in the $16,900 Portland Meadows Fall Derby.

Shez Sneakin Fast was moved to second and Longo to third place after Tickle Ur Fancy was disqualified and placed last for interference.

Ridden by jockey Nakia Ramirez, Tic Tac Attack completed the 400 yards in :20.151 seconds, a 97-speed index over a sloppy racecourse into a 3 mph headwind. It was the third win 15 career starts for the Tac It Like a Man filly and the $6,760 winners' purse boosted her career mark to $17,431.

Skyler Greene conditions the brown filly for BDS Performance Horses. Mark Adair and Mark Adair II bred Tic Tac Attack in Texas from the Separatist mare Harney Girl.

Gary Chumbley's Oregon homebred Shez Sneakin Fast earned $2,873 for second. Scott Raley trains the multiple stakes finalist by leading sire Heza Fast Dash from the Splash Bac mare Sneak Bac. Kasssie Guglielmino had the riding call.

Jake Samuels rode Longo for owner Jaime De La Torre and trainer Nick Lowe. Martha Wells bred the Foose gelding in California from the Dash Thru Traffic mare Seronka. He picked up $1,859 for third.

Completing the official order of finish were Gone Fast, Cm Its All About Me, Myappi, Ez Feisty Patriot and Tickle Ur Fancy. Poison Ivey was scratched.
