AURORA, CO—JULY 26, 2015—In a long drive, the Thoroughbred Kid Rambo defeated Quarter Horse Oh Jess Fly by a head in the $12,050 Leo Beaudash 870 Stakes (not black-type) Sunday afternoon at Arapahoe Park.

Dennis Collins rode the gelding son of Kafwain over the 870 yard course in a quick :45.863 seconds to earn a $94 speed index and pocket the winner's purse of $7,230. Owned-and-trained by Manuel Orozco, Kid Rambo was bred in Kentucky by No Bats Thunder Company. He is out of the Capote mare Alrami.

Baron Hugo's Oh Jess Fly earned $2,410 for second. Miguel Pena saddled the 7-year-old Fly Jess Fly gelding out of Oh What A Perks, by Dash For Perks. Weetona Stanley is the breeder and Russell Vicchrilli had the riding call.

Tiz Top, Bonified, Reeser and Tebow completed the field.
