TInys First Affair Turns Tables on Mm Mr Doubtfire In Northern Plains Futurity

FARGO, NM—JULY 26, 2015—During the July 11th trials Tinys First Affair finished second by three lengths to fastest qualifier Mm Mr Doubtfire. Today the gelding bested his rival by three-quarters to take the winner's share of the $26,790 purse in the Northern Plains Futurity at Chippewa Downs.

Ridden by jockey Shaun Herman, Tinys First Affair completed the 350 yards in :18.480 seconds to pocket the winner's purse of $13,395. The Tiny First Feature gelding has complied a (5) 2-1-1 records this year and earned $17,292.

Jim Fleming conditions the North Dakota homebred for owner/breeder Karen Glasser. Tiny First Affair is out of the Rare News mare Little Love Affair.

Mm Mr Doubtfire put in a game effort under jockey Francisco Estrada but he had to settle for the second place check worth $6,162. Amanda Haar saddled the Dealagame gelding for owner Ramon Salvidrez. M & M Shorthorns bred Mm Mr Doubtfire in South Dakota from the Spanish Boot mare This Discos Bootin.

John Bubel's homebred Jennas Easy Eagle finished 1¼-lengths back for trainer Terry Davis. Zack Zeigler rode the Such Easy Cash filly from the Up To Victory mare Jennas Birthday. The $3,483 third place check more than doubled her earnings to $5,107.

Fantastic Rambler and Brindis Me completed the field. Hannas Santana was scratched.

NDQHRA Quarter Horse Maturity

Such Easy Cash sired the 1-2 finishers Sunday in the $11,550 NDQHRA Quarter Horse Maturity at Chippewa Downs Sunday.

John Bubel's homebred 5-year-old mare Jennas Easy Cash went wire-to-wire holding off Sweet Easy Cash by a neck. Ridden by Zack Ziegler, the sorrel mare completed the 350 yards in :18.540 seconds to take the winner's purse of $5,755.

Trainer Terry Davis saddled the Such Easy Cash mare to her fifth win. Her record stands at (25) 5-8-4 with earnings of $23,840. She is out of the Up To Victory mare Jennas Birthday, making her full sister to the aforementioned Jennas Easy Eagle who was third in today's North Plains Futurity.

Owned-and-trained by Ennis Halvorson, Sweet Easy Cash earned $2,310 for second to boost his career mark past $43,300. Also bred by John Bubel, the Such Easy Cash 7-year-old is out of Sweeter Than Rime, by Major Rime. Francisco Estrada had the riding assignment.

Chicks Skidoo finished three-quarters back for third. Leo Delorme trains the Torrid Tango 7-year-old for Larris Delorme. Terry Reed bred the mare in North Dakota from the Dashin Chico mare Pals Dashin Chick. She picked up $1,155 for the effort brining her total earnings to $15,600.

Marksetgo, Perks Prize Wagon, Major Dasher and Cricket County completed the field.
