Featuring Magic Man Gets First Stakes Win in Fair Meadows Maturity

TULSA, OK—JULY 4, 2015—Ridden by jockey Paul Nieto Featuring Magic Man defeated Wagon Of Roses Lvc by a neck to score his first career stakes victory in the $17,500 Fair Meadows Maturity Saturday at Fair Meadows Racecourse. Sudden Separation finished a neck behind in the show position.

The 8-year-old son of Corona Cocktail completed the 350 yards in a quick :17.352 clocking to earn a 97 speed index. The $8,730 winner's purse boosted his career mark to $85,602 with a (29) 5-10-2 record.

Manuel Mata trains the sorrel gelding for owner Hector Estrada. Mark Langford bred Feature Magic Man in Texas from the *Beduino (TB) mare Featuring Beduino.

Wagon Of Roses Lvc races for owner/trainer Rodrigo Covarrubias. Jesus Salazar rode the Pyc Paint Your Wagon 4-year-old out of Precocious Rosie, by Holland Ease. L.V. Ray and Connie Barnes is the breeder. Wagon Of Roses Lvc earned $3,410.

Sudden Separation is a homebred Inseperable filly racing for owner/breeder Duane Murphy. Larry Sharp trains with Alex Baldillez, Jr. getting the riding assignment. Out of the Okey Dokey Dale mare Okie Dokey Annie, Sudden Separation picked up $1,876 for her effort.

Daltsgunningforsuccess, Carpe Diem Drew, I V Gone, Naked Spur, Flys No Mystery, Cartels Hercules and Jess Check Me completed the field.
