This Candys Salty was 5-1 in the wagering, paying $13.20 to win, $5.40 to place and $4 to show. Specialscountrychick was second, returning $8.60 to place and $6.40 to show. First Ginlark was third and paid $3.80 to show. Daltsguninforsuccess was the beaten 9-5 wagering favorite, running fourth.

Bred in Oklahoma by the late Carl Pevehouse, This Candys Salty is by Pyc Paint Your Wagon from the Salt Lake (TB) mare Salt Lake Spitty. She won her sixth career race from 18 starts, picking up $15,290 to run her lifetime earnings to $101,565.
