Los Alamitos Equine Sale Gets Underway Saturday

LOS ALAMITOS, CA—OCTOBER 1, 2020—The 16th annual Los Alamitos Equine Sale will get underway on Saturday, October 3 with the first hip entering the sale ring at 10 a.m. (PSD).

The Equine Sale will continue on Sunday, October 4 at 10 a.m. Live video of the sale is available losalamitosequinesale.com.

The two-day sale will feature over 300 consignments of the top bloodlines in the sport of Quarter Horse racing. The yearlings and mixed stock available will represent the finest stallions and broodmares in the industry.

Among the stallions represented will be Favorite Cartel, First Down Dash, Corona Cartel, Apollitical Jess, One Famous Eagle, Seperate Interest, Kiddy Up and the first yearling crop of Fly Thru The Fire and more.

The leading Quarter Horse racing operations in the nation headed by Edward C. Allred, the sport’s all-time leading breeders, 2019 AQHA champion breeder Burns Ranch, the late John Andreini, Lazy E Ranch, Vista Equine Colorado, EG High Desert Farms, Firth Ranch and other top names will have consignments featured at the sale.

Recent sale graduates include 2020 Grade 1 Ed Burke Million Futurity winner Chance To Excel, 2020 Grade 1 Vessels Maturity winner Chocolatito, 2020 Grade 1 Go Man Go Handicap winner Powerful Favorite, 2019 Grade 2 PCQHRA Breeders Futurity winner Sass Go Blue and 2019 Grade Southern California Derby winner Mister Appolitical, 2019 Governor’s Cup Futurity winner Pitbull, 2017 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity winner J Fire Up and more.

Nearly all of the top families in racing will be featured at Los Alamitos Equine Sale. In addition, the sale will feature a great lineup of broodmares to be sold. The Los Alamitos Equine Sale is managed by the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Racing Association.
