Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale Results Now Available

DALLAS, TX—JANUARY 26, 2015—Due to a technical problem with our sales database StallioneSerch.com was unable to provide our users with the statistical results following the final session of the Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale on Saturday. The problem has been fixed and results are now available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Preliminary sales figures show 679 head selling for a gross of $8,755,550 and an average of $12,894. The catalog had 835 head indexed with 83 outs and 73 repurchases.

Bobby D. Cox of Fort Worth, Texas the sale's leading buyer with three purchases totaling $415,000. Paragon Farms (Tom Lipar) purchased four head for $263,000 and Simmons Racing paid $208,000 for their only purchase.

Lazy E Ranch, LLC, Agent was the leading Winter Mixed sale consignor with 50 head grossing $727,200. The ranch also sold a number of other lots under "Lazy E Ranch, LLC, Agent for. . ." including Zory Kuzyk for $318,000, Sandy Erwin for $255,500 and Double Bar S Ranch, LLC for $208,600.

6666 Ranch, Agent was the second leading consignor with 13 head for $540,400, Marty Powers, Agent had 32 head bring $429,300 and Steve Holt, Agent sold 21 head for $401,500.

World Champion and first sale crop sire One Dashing Eagle lead all "short yearling" sires (by average with two or more sold) with four yearlings that averaged $35,750. Pyc Paint Your Wagon had four yearlings for $25,750 and One Famous Eagle sold four head for $23,625. Grade 1 winner High Rate Of Return was the #2 first sale crop sire with two yearlings that averaged $18,000.

Last year's leading second crop sire First Moonflash was the sale's leading covering sire (by average with two or more sold), selling two in-foal mares for at $70,500 average. First Down Dash had two in-foal mares at $62,500, Mr Jess Perry had two for $59,500 and Corona Cartel had four in-foal mares average $51,000.
