Twelve Race Training Card Scheduled Thursday at Remington Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK--FEBRUARY 13, 2018--Twelve training races, 11 for 2-year-olds, will be contested on Thursday at Remington Park. First post will be 11:00 a.m. (CST). All races will be run at 250 yards.

Kunde, a $50,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate, will head Race 5 for trainer Jose Barron and owner Hugo Barron. The son of leading New Mexico sire Jesse James Jr is a brother to RG3 winner Rex Hill and RG1-placed Untangled Vines and Jameson Jr. Out of the multiple stakes producing Dash Ta Fame mare Tangled Vines, Kunde is from the family of champions Alice K White and Astica.

Barron and Barron will also team in Race 1 with the $32,000 Heritage Place September graduate Tres Seis Commotion. The bay colt out of the stakes winning First Down Dash mare Start The Commotion is a half-brother to multiple stakes winner and track record holder One Tough Dude.

In Race 2 trainer Wesley Giles will saddle $30,000 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate Omaha for owners Jose Espinosa and K. and C. Blouch. The son of last year's leading second-crop sire One Dashing Eagle is out of a Tr Dasher sister to Grade 1 winner Hard Hitting and half-sister to Grade 1 winner Hot Hitter. This is the immediate family of world champion Freaky.

Four summer sale graduates will face off in Race 4 including the Kasey Willis trained Missapollitical, a $41,000 Heritage Place September filly by leading sire Apollitical Jess. Victory Farms purchased the half-sister to stakes-placed Gabbanelli and G3-finalist Copper Oaks, from the Mr Eye Opener mare Eye Love It.

Also starting in Race 4 is $31,000 Ruidoso Select buy back Santander. Clinton Crawford trains the son of world champion sire FDD Dynasty for owner/breeder Jorge Haddad. The bay colt is from the first crop of the stakes winning Feature Mr Jess mare Im A Feature Girl, a sister to Grade 2 winner Thisfeatureisspecial. This is the family of champion Jess Louisiana Blue and graded stakes horses Louisiana Eye Opener and The Louisiana Cartel.
