Stakes winners Cartels Courage and ABC Nalaki are among the 17 Challenge Enrolled 3-year-olds entered in Saturday's Adequan Arizona Derby Challenge trials at Arizona Downs.

Cartels Courage and ABC Nalaki will both match strides in the second of two 400-yard heats. A gelded son of Coronado Cartel trained by Jesus Carrete for owner Hector M. The geldiing has won five of 12 races and has earned $80,149, and he will be making his first career start at Arizona Downs.

Cartels Courage drew post 5 and will be ridden by Agustin Silva.

ABC Nalaki will be making her sophomore season debut. Trained by Lin Melton for owners Scott Giltner and Bob Giltner, the homebred Apolliical Blood filly ended her 2-year-old campaign with a three-quarter length victory in the 400-yard, $36,000 Arizona Downs Futurity on September 15.
