SANDY, ID—JULY 4, 2019—Fastest qualifier Wagonfullofdividends (5-2) will face the old warrior Time For Jesse Lee (7-2) in the $50,677 Bank of America Challenge Championship today at Sandy Downs.

First post on Sandy Downs July 4th eight-race program is 1 pm (PDT). The Bank of America Challenge Championship will run as the card closer with a 3:55 pm (MDT) approximate post.

A winner of nine of 10 career starts, Wagonfullofdividends posted a new track record during a one-length win while setting the fastest qualifying time in the June 21 Bank of America trials.

The bay son of leading sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon bounced off his only loss on May 19 for trainer Mark Hanson and owners RTM Stables LLC, Robin Dunn and Kevin Dunn. Jesus Cannales is riding again today from post position 5.

The four-time Texas-bred stakes winner won the Rocky Mountain Spring Classic Futurity, Bitterroot Futurity, Gary Blattner/Harold Pence Memorial Derby and the Bitterroot Derby and has banked $76,705. Randy and Sandy Coleman bred Wagonfullofdividends from the Brimmerton mare Ms Athenas Dividend.

Time For Jesse Lee, a 7-year-old multiple stakes winning son of Mr Jesse Lee, was bumped at the start in the June 21st trials, finishing second to Wagonfullofdividends to get the second fastest qualifying time.

Racing for owner-breeder Jim Walker and trained by Monty Arrossa, the Idaho-bred has won 19 of 46 starts and earned over $201,000. Jockey Joseph Belloc, Jr. will be aboard the black gelding from the Mescallero Chick mare Time For Noble.
