GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALB—AUGUST 30, 2015—Cedar Creek Farm Ranch and Racing's Wrap You Up was a convincing winner Sunday in the $30,869(US) Adequan Evergreen Derby Challenge at Grande Prairie. The filly, by leading sire Walk Thru Fire, defeated Crusinfourabrusin by three-quarters of a length. Tequila Tuesday finished a neck back in the show position.

Ridden by jockey Larris Allen, Wrap You Up completed the 400 yards in :20.457 seconds, an 87-speed index into a 10 mph crosswind. The $14,817(US) winner's purse boosted the sorrel filly's earnings total to $46,445. Hector Magallanes conditions the 3-year-old out of Babe On The Fly, by Strawfly Special. Steve Burns, DVM is the breeder.

The victory also earned Wrap You Up a starting spot in the $200,000 Guaranteed Adequan Derby Challenge Championship(G3) to be held November 7 at Lone Star Park during the Bank of America Challenge Championships.

Cruisinfourabruisin, a homebred son of multiple stakes sire First Timber owned-and-raced by Barry and Janice Allen, was a game second. Trained by Janice, the graded stakes winner earned $6,328(US) to increase his bankroll to $72,799. Ruben Saenz rode the gelding out of Tagulator, by Royal Evening Snow.

Janice also saddled third place finisher Tequila Tuesday, another homebred for she and Barry. Jose Rocha rode the Coronas Fast Dash gelding out of Keep On Keepin On, by Dash To Chivato. He earned $3,087(US) for the effort.

Wave Rocker, Hrh Burning Corona, Augie Meyer, First Sassy Timber and Stella Wave completed the field.
