Fastest Qualifier Returns to Win Evergreen Park Maiden Challenge

GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALB—AUGUST 21, 2015—Fastest qualifier Shez Double Quick broke-out at the start but prevailed by a neck over Witnessing Faith in the $16,739(US) Evergreen Park Maiden Challenge presented by Bank of America Friday at Grande Prairie. Western Hauler Wayne finished another neck back in third place.

Ridden by jockey Jose Rocha, the daughter of Hez Fast As Cash completed the 350 yards in :18.143 with an 15 mph tailwind. The $8,034(US) winner's purse boosted her career total to $15,890.

Owned-bred and trained by Buckey Stockwell, the 3-year-old filly has compiled a (10) 3-3-1 record. She is out of the Whos Bad mare Eyes Double Bad.

Allen Goodsell saddled Witnessing Faith for owner/breeder Mark Cassel. The Spit Curl Jess Alberta-bred filly is out of The Corona mare High Flying Corona. Ridden by Ricardo Moreno, the sorrel filly picked up $3,431(US) for second.

Western Hauler Wayne earned $1,674(US) for owner/trainer Dean Frey. Berkley Packer had the riding call aboard the Ivory James Texas-bred from the Separatist mare Separate Folly. Burnett Ranches, LLC is the breeder.

Stole Away, Splashy Mamacita, Fantastic Attitude, Sales Price and The Wolverine completed the field.
