Ynot Walk Uses Strong Finish To Win Les Bois Park Bonus Challenge

BOISE, ID—JUNE 24, 2015—Grade 1 winner Ynot Walk used a strong finish Wednesday evening to get up over Ss Paydirt by a nose in the $16,015 Les Bois Park Bonus Challenge at Les Bois Park. Margaritas N Coronas finished half-a-length back in third.

Ridden by jockey Eddie Aceves, the 2015 Los Alamitos Winter Derby(G1) winner covered the 350 yards in a quick :17.426 clocking, a 99 speed index behind a 5 mph tailwind.

James Hanson conditions the Walk Thru Fire gelding for RTM Stables, LLC and George T. Weldon. Steve D. Burns DVM bred Ynot Walk in California from the Chicks Beduino mare Ynot Bar. The $9,609 Bonus Challenge winner's purse pushes Ynot Walk's earnings mark to $138,756. His record stands at (12) 5-3-2.

Also a graded stakes winner, Ss Paydirt picked up $3,203 for his effort. Jessica Hadley trains the Carters Cartel 4-year-old for owner/breeder Richard Frandsen. Jesus Virgen rode the brown gelding out of the Dash Ta Fame mare Mia Ta Fame. The Utah homebred has earned nearly $123,500.

A multiple stakes winner, Margaritas N Coronas races for owner Robert Hickman and trainer Bret Vickery. Jose Figueroa rode the Corona Czech 7-year-old out of Fly Margarita, by Strawfly Special. Gregory and Renee Hickman bred the sorrel in Washington State. Picking up $1,922 for the effort, he has earned over $111,700.

Completing the order-of-finish were Micato, Lil Bits A Dash and Bogue.
