NEW WAVERLY, TX—JUNE 21, 2015—Eyesa Famous Eagle, winner of the 2015 Bank of America Turf Paradise Challenge Championship, arrived at the Diamond G. Ranch training center in New Waverly, Texas over the weekend to begin preparation for the $350,000 Grade 1 Bank of America Challenge Championship at Lone Star Park November 7.
Owned by Cesar Dabdoub, the son of leading sire One Famous Eagle has been turned over to leading Texas trainer Judd Kearl.
Texas-bred Eyesa Famous Eagle held off a late charge from Block N Tackle on April 26th to win the $70,740 Bank of America Turf Paradise Challenge Championship at Turf Paradise. It was the fourth win in 20 career starts for the earner of more than $102,000. He was also third in the G2 Adequan Derby Challenge Championship last fall at Prairie Meadows.
Eyesa Famous Eagle was bred by by Burnett Ranches, LLC from the Eyesa Special mare Eyesa Glass.
Eyesa Famous Eagle is being pointed at the Bank of America Challenge Championship(G1) at Lone Star Park, but could possibly make a start at Retama Park this summer.
