Arizona Global Symposium On Racing Agenda Set For The Annual Conference In Tucson

TUCSON, AZ—OCTOBER 21, 201—The University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program has released the agenda for its 47th annual Global Symposium on Racing, to be held December 6-8 at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson.

Members of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority (HISA) will be featured in a panel held on December 8.

Also, AQHA chief racing officer Janet VanBebber will be a panelist during the "HISA's Impact: Observations from the Quarter Horse & Harness Industry" panel on December 7.

During this panel, executives from AQHA and United States Trotting Association (USTA) will present their concerns over the effect that HISA will have on their respective racing programs. The panel will be moderated by Association of Racing Commissioners International Inc. president Ed Martin and will include Russell Williams, president of the USTA.
