ELGIN, TX—OCTOBER 25, 2016—Trials for the Grade I Texas Classic Futurity were held Saturday, October 15 at Lone Star Park. The ten fastest qualifiers will return to Lone Star Park to compete in the $1 million final on November 12th.

Today, the TQHA announced there will be a Texas Classic Juvenile Invitational also carded on Saturday, November 12, along with the finals for the Texas Classic Futurity and Derby.

The Juvenile (consolation) is open to all horses that ran in the trials but did not qualify for the Texas Classic Futurity final, with preference given to horses with the fastest times, starting with the eleventh fastest time.

The purse for the 2016 Texas Classic Juvenile Invitational is $50,000.
