Racetrack Correspondence Subcommittee To Work On Improving Communication

AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION—JULY 29, 2016—In an effort to promote the racetracks that host American Quarter Horse racing, a new racing subcommittee has been developed under the AQHA Racing Council and AQHA Racing Committee that will begin work this summer.

The AQHA Racetrack Correspondence Subcommittee will allow AQHA’s leadership to more effectively communicate with racetracks. The group will work with the Racing Council and Racing Committee to make sure program information, policy changes and feedback can be communicated to and from racetracks with maximum efficiency.

“These great racetracks are the stage on which our champions perform,” said AQHA Chief Racing Officer Janet VanBebber. “Effective communication will help us all serve our customers more efficiently.”

Members serving on the subcommittee include Racing Council members Melodie Knuchell and Duayne Didericksen, as well as Paul Blanchard, Shaun Hubbard, Fred Hutton, Tom Lepic and Debbie Schauf.
