Zoomin Effortlessly Gains Steam in AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll

Q-RACING JOURNAL—APRIL 13, 2016—This week's AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll for 3-year-olds and older went unchanged from a week ago as the Top 10 continued as previously ranked. But life at the top got tighter as pollsters narrowed the gap considerably between No. 1 Moonist and No. 2 Zoomin Effortlessly, now just separated by seven points in the balloting. That divide was 15 points a week ago following Zoomin Effortlessly's Leo Stakes (G1) win at Remington Park – his seventh straight victory spanning the past two seasons.

Moonist has been voted No. 1 in each poll taken this season, dating back to early March. The Los Alamitos Winter Championship (G1) hero has won 22 of 32 overall starts and his only defeat in his last six starts was a narrow runner-up in the Champion of Champions (G1) in December.

Rankings for the national 2-year-old scene will debut in the coming week as major early season futurity finals begin to unveil the division’s leaders.
