Q-RACING JOURNAL—MAY 22, 2015—Fastest Heritage Place Futurity (G1) qualifier Tee Chic leapfrogged previously top-ranked Ivan James this week for the No. 1 spot in the AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll for 2-year-olds. Tee Chic, unbeaten in three starts, including the final of the Oklahoma Futurity (G2), aims for a second major finals score on May 30 in the $1,170,000 Heritage Place Futurity at Remington Park.

Two other juveniles raced into the poll this week, led by Walk Thru Crystal at No. 5. She advanced to 3-for-3 lifetime by winning the $294,500 Kindergarten Futurity (G2) at Los Alamitos. Meanwhile, Jessa Louisiana Zoom debuted at No. 10 this week following her victory in the $273,977 Louisiana Lassie Futurity (RG2) at Delta Downs.

There were no major changes to the national rankings for older horses this week. Matabari continued her hold on the top spot, followed by Moonist and Daytona B.
