OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 17, 2015—Entries will close at noon Sunday, April 19 for special schooling races offered to Heritage Place Futurity eligible two-year-olds that are non-starters.

"I visited with Matt Vance, Executive Vice President of Racing and Gaming for Remington Park yesterday and we discussed the need for an additional opportunity to give everyone a fair chance to allow their horses to see and race on the track before the trials for the Heritage Place Million Dollar futurity trials, " said Debbie Schauf, OQHRA Executive Director. "Matt immediately agreed that the track would offer an additional schooling opportunity."

The schooling races will run on Wednesday April 22nd which will give all participants another 15 days before the trials, shaping up perfectly for experience for any non-starters that might still be eligible for the Heritage this year.

"It is really great to work with a track that is sympathetic to, and understands the needs of the horsemen," Schauf added.
