AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION—FEBRUARY 19, 2015—The American Quarter Horse Association invites you to celebrate its 75th anniversary by attending the Markel AQHA Cowtown Showdown, presented by the City of Fort Worth, during the 2015 AQHA Convention in Fort Worth.

The Cowtown Showdown, which will start at 5 p.m. on March 7 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center. See cowboys like Lyle Lovett, Shawn Flarida, Todd Crawford, Lloyd Cox and representatives from historic AQHA ranches like King Ranch, Burnett Ranches and others ride to win.

The excitement will include

• Meet and greet at 4 p.m. with past AQHA Professional Horsemen and -women of the Year, American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame inductees and other legends of the horse world.
• Fierce competition by the top contenders in the National Cutting Horse, National Reining Horse and National Reined Cow Horse associations.Working cow horse competition sponsored by Nutrena.
• Ranch horse competition, sponsored by Ford, featuring historic ranches.
• Grammy-award winner and AQHA member Lyle Lovett.
• Champion freestyle reiner and entertainer Dan James, sponsored by Western Horseman.
