Talented New Arrivals Will Head Wild West Trials

LOS ALAMITOS, CA—OCTOBER 1, 2020—XG Bar Racing’s Proud Movin Renegade and Chris Sutton’s CM Dillingham Advice are among the talented new arrivals that will race in the trials to the $99,350 Wild West Futurity on Sunday at Los Alamitos.

Fourteen juveniles will be in action in the two trials at 350 yards with the horses with the 10 fastest times advancing to the Wild West final to be held here on October 25.

Five of the 14 trial hopefuls will be racing at Los Alamitos for the first time on Sunday night with many of them arriving with impressive credentials. The Idaho-bred Proud Movin Renegade will make his Los Alamitos debut in the first of two trials after a terrific campaign highlighted by his daylight victory in the $96,000 Bitterroot Futurity.

The Maknmoves gelding comes in with a four-race win streak, which also includes a victory in the consolation to the Beehive Futurity. The homebred gelding will be saddled by Jose Flores for the first time, but will be ridden by jockey Jesus Valenzuela, who has piloted Proud Movin Renegade in all five of his career starts. Others in this trial included Bravo Delta Charlie, who ran in the Beehive final, and Coronado Kiss, who ran third to Proud Movin Renegade in the Bitterroot.

Coronado Kiss does have a start at Los Alamitos, running second to the impressive Tres Jess in an allowance event on September 11. CM Dillingham Advice, who finished second in the John Deere Emerald Downs Juvenile Challenge, will also compete in this heat.

The second trial will be headed by Silvia Carmona’s Relentless Six, who finished third to No Hesitation in the trials to the Grade 2, $375,000 PCQHRA Breeders Futurity. Relentless Six had previously finished second to the talented Louisiana Bunny in the $60,000 Firecraker Futurity at Grants Pass.

Marvin Falls Downs Jr.’s Well Kiss My Wagon, second in a $42,500 futurity at Sweetwater Downs, and Threefamousdiamonds, the runner-up in the $20,000 Oneida County Fair Futurity, are among the runners in this trial.
